Butler won the first 4 rds but after that i thought he did next to nothing.

If you liked what Butler was doing its not a totally unrealistic score IMO.
The rounds were close and similar. I favoured Butler. Great fight though.

No way Butler should stay at Bantamweight, he just dosent have the power or stamina at that weight.

    Hall deserves a rematch asap.

I could live with a draw or 7-5 either way but Hall took over the fight from Rd 5 onwards and pretty much dominated the fight untill the 11th and 12th.

A lot closer than people thought it would be and it will be debated ... Good performance by both men, just a pity one judge decided to go to the bar between rounds 6-11 and leave a bad taste after what was a very competitive fight.

    Agreed.

Hall probably lost it on scorecards due to losing the first 4 or 5 rds on the scorecards.

I still think Butler is a major talent despite having him losing the fight, he looked great the first 4 rds and if he'd kept the fight at the centre on the ring he would have won the fight easy.

Butler is still only 25 years old so has a bright future although a move back down to Super Flyweight is the most sensible decision to make.

I had it to Butler by 1 but would have had no argument if Hall got it. Butler should go back down & vacate the belt and fight for the vacant IBF as Lillis suggested...maybe Hobson can pull a rabbit out the hat again with the IBF and get Stuey a fight against the Cabellero fella for the vacant title?

It depends. If you like to see ineffective flashy combos that land on the opponents gloves then yeah give it to Butler.

If you like to see a fighter be the aggressor and land meaningful shots that back his opponent up and make his prancing around the ring look stupid then score the fight to Hall.

At the end of the day, cod eyes pockets will only benefit from Butler being the next big thing hence the 117-111 card.

Had it to Butler 116--14 but could have gone either way really that 117-111 was a joke i'm sick to death of shocking scoring, either that judge is a ****** who doesn't know boxing so therefore should never judge again or he is corrupt and should never judge again either laughable scorecard the other cards were very much fair.
