Perez fought two top heavyweight prospects like Takam and Abdusalamov. Mago is a great puncher and the fight was a war. Because of Mago's terrible injury, Perez couldn't probably give everything against Takam. Now, while Mago recovers and is able to talk again, I hope Mike's spirit came back. He also fought veterans like Walker or Fields and impressed in those fights.

Now, who did Jennings beat? He looks great, we have to admit that but he struggled against Fedosov, was down against Tupou and went throug life and death with Liakhovich, who was knocked out in 1 by Wilder. His best win was Szpilka .. one of the biggest bums in boxing history. Most overhyped boxer ever, pure arrogance but no skill. A featherfisted glass jawed fighter who was down in almost all of his fights, who won through robbery against Minto and whose jaw was broken by McCline.
Jennings almost went through the distance against that bum ..

So, how will he fight against Perez? Do you even give him a chance or is here someone who sees him as favourite in this fight? Mike's jaw is pure granite and he has some real boxing skills.

He's still learning but there's bond to *****s in his game. It's positive though to see an American heavyweight in good shape fighting regularly.

I'm not convinced Perez is the same guy mentally or physically after the Mago fight. Along with the emotional effects something like that carries, he took a lot of punishment in that fight himself.

Jennings has a great chance to win that fight if Perez is still dragging in either regard. He's developing, and he's got flaws, but he's always improving and develops quickly. Bryant's going to show up prepared. Perez needs to make sure he's got all cylinders firing.

I saw, it was on a Klitschko Undercard if I remember well. Perez is no a puncher but he didn't have trouble against Walker. It was a good, easy fight for Perez and he showed some skills.

Perez lost to Takam IMO but he looked powerful against Mago thing is he is overweight and was sucking air in the Takam fight. Jennings is always in good condition but it all depends on the pace that is set and who wants to win. I think Jennings is more versatile but Perez the stronger....good matchmaking
