He's moving around like his knees are fine. It's his chin that is causing the problems.

    His KNEES are fckd.

Martinez is a man and doesn't want to take away anything FROM Cotto FOR Cotto...since Mr.Cotto seems to feel this is a special moment in his career.

Problem was that he was southpaw. So all his pivoting is on his bad knee. He should have fought orthodox for a round or two

THIS. He was moving fine until Cotto touched him with that hook. Chinny Martinez was simply NEVER on Cotto's elite level. He may have looked it against big slow dudes, I mean, he got KO'd by a Margarito, He barely squeaked by Cintron... Cotto was a level above him. Not as flashy, not fighting with his hands down...Just a level above.

what hurt Sergio the most, Cotto's power. Roach was on record saying Cotto hit harder than Chavez Jr. If you seriously analyzed Sergio up to the fight, he was a bundle of nerves because HE, unlike you kids, understood. He did the math and he knew Cotto was a level above the guys he fought.

its not like its a secret the man had 2 knee surgeries and had visible movement problems in his last fight and this one. At one point he did a pivot to punch and just straight fell down under his own weight.

Does Sergio not spar or run or any leg work? This would have been happening all camp if the knees were the main problem.
He got hit by a big left hook that meant ANY time Cotto was touching him in the first he was buckling and falling over.
He never recovered and Miguel took over.

I don't recall hearing Sergio make any excuses after the fight, despite twice being baited to do so. I found it a refreshing change of pace, especially in a day and age where excuses are commonplace to the point where one fighter even removed a shoe so the audience could view his bum toe.

Kinda this. If his knees are bad its cos he's loosing balance due to getting rattled.

It was basically Martinez-Chavez 12 from round 1.

Cant believe some ******s are saying Sergio's legs were fine, he was stumbling all around the place, walking with a limp all the fight, he almost fell on his own several times ******s, his knees were ****ed up since round 1, this guy arrived to the match INJURED and both him and the media made a great job hiding this. they conned everybody making us believe this match was gonna be competitive. Cotto beat a shot to **** handicaped man today, no credit for him
