I think a motivated and disciplined Chavez Jr is pretty decent. The lazy, fat, pothead one is ****. When healthy, his hook to the body is devastating.

And even he would be a step up for GGG.

Believe me, I wouldn't be surprised if GGG turned out to be the real deal. But I wouldn't be surprised if he got battered when he stepped up either.

Not exactly the same thing, is it. Those smw's have not had multiple extensive surgeries, recently. Who cares about GGG anyway? Froch at this point can do what he wants, and if Wards wants a fight just go up and fight the Russian.

Last time I checked Chavez-GGG was close to a done deal at 168.

    That thread is a fail!

Golovkin is fighting Geale next, and are now in talks with Soliman who just beat Sturm........................then there is a possible fight with Cotto in the works. Pac sure beat the hell out of Cotto...............

Ward still refuses to fight Stevenson at 168, and said that Kovalev is too big for him. Let Ward stay in court................

Gotta give Cotto credit... it takes BALLS to square up and fight a man one n one like that, It was in MSG also. Thats Cottos place. Cotto didnt call for back up or nothing. Just stood up like a MAN and took care of his business.

That's why GGG targeted Chavez Jr. GGG wasn't going to stay at 168lbs like Cotto isn't staying in the MW. I think tonight shows GGG is the best MW today and has been for a while.

Sergio was ripe for the taking tonight Roach did it again just as he did with Delahoya vs Pacquiao. I still give Cotto credit, but when he beats Golovkin, the real middleweight champ, Cotto will be a modern day Duran in my book. Right now he's opened a new chapter and the possibilities are endless for him, another big payday with Mayweather, Canelo, Chavez Jr, or easier unification fight with Soliman. I really doubt he goes after Golovkin, that would be suicidal.
