If you have a legit knee injury, then you don't take a big fight, do you? Much less talk smack like calling his opponent a diva! This just had that feeling like he was just trying to cash out and get one more big payday. I respect what Martinez has done in the ring over his career, but when it's over, it's over. It's one thing to go out like a warrior, but that wasn't what we saw here. He was not in any condition to fight.

the diva is the Middleweight Champ of the world, so call him whatever you want. He won and is the king right now.
Who cares? Fighters say things before fights, whether to play mind games, motivate themselves, hype fights, etc...The demand seemed like a mind game as Cotto apparently didn't care about going in second. Cotto kicked his ass.
