Lmao. I knew I would see one of these topics tonight. ESB never fails to disappoint me. However, I think it was the knees themselves were so weak that even at a 1% of buckle he would go down. That is why he was able to recover quickly from every knockdown he had.
Zakman, Sergio was one of the brighest star in boxing. He was a shooting star. I was happy to witness his raise to the top. That said his chin is WET TOILET PAPER MACHE.:verysad
He's definitely shown signs of decline in the punch resistance category. But, I think it comes down to his dimming reflexes and movement than anything else. Lets be honest. Sergio never had a great chin. He's been down all throughout his career. With that being said he still has exceptional recovery after being knocked down, but he just doesn't have the movement or reflexes required to win fights anymore at this stage of his career. Now he's just there to be hit, and really anybody decent at 154-160 beats him.
Martinez has declined so much that he'll probably fight a nobody in Argentina for his going away fight and lose. I couldn't believe that was the same Martinez I've watched for so long. It was almost like some doppelganger. He's a shell of who he was, It was honestly sad to watch.
