in the video which you guys all suggest floyd ducked margarito and was paranoid .....floyd even says straight up to margarito "im making smart business decisions" to margarito.....

and what i said is exactly what he was talking about about....8 mil for margarito but 7 mil apiece for hatton and cotto who are bigger names....."im making smart business decisions" aka im leaving arum and going on my own to get money....

The reason Floyd made so much money for the Oscar fight is because Oscar was the biggest cash cow in boxing and he attracted so many fans. After that fight, Floyd himself became the cash cow, and so he made huge money against Hatton. Floyd was being asked to fight Margarito for a record payday BEFORE the Oscar fight. 8 million was a record payday offer for Floyd, and he didn't even give Bob an answer.

The problem with the Margarito negotiations was that there WERE NONE. Floyd didn't even want to talk about Margarito. So of course Arum started by offering the sum you reported, but if Floyd had negotiated, he could have got a lot more, or just a one-fight deal. We'll never know because Floyd wanted no part of the fight, period.

 

Why are you trying to convice *******s? These guys see pac as god and don't even know what having a debate means, much less prove a point .

ummm well first off....yes i know how floyd made his money with oscar....obviously oscar was the a-side...but i guess you missed the point....arum said 20 mil was too much for floyd for that fight...he wanted that guaranteed....arum said hed be working for too little in that....well floyd ended up making 25 mil....

again you missed the point about the margarito fight....arum offered it to floyd....for 8 mil guaranteed....which wasnt a bad deal at all....arum was even quoted as saying floyd had no problem with it and was willing to take it.....the problem was that floyd asked for 10 mil guarantees in the future cotto and hatton fights.....bob was only willing to do 7....bob said straight up thats the best i can do and that floyd was asking for the stratosphere....

how can you offer 8 mil for tony(which is a decent/fair deal) and then tell floyd hes worth less guaranteed against cotto and hatton who are bigger names/draws financially?

floyd was not afraid of margarito and they did talk bout the fight between him and arum....arum started launching tirades and saying he wanted no part after floyd bought out his contract.....before that he even said floyd talked to him about the tony fight and was willing to take it.....bob lowballed him cotto/hatton and floyd bought himself out...instead of a deal where hes seeing 22 mil guaranteed for 3 fights against margarito, hatton and cotto....he fought baldomir, oscar, and hatton and made almost 60 million.....lol.....and people wonder why the fight didnt happen.....

bob was stingy...he could have had him fighting cotto,hatton, and tony for 22 mil guaranteed....but he was stingy and didnt wanna pony up.....either that or he was seriously concerned floyd was going to buy out his contract and leave him......so he made a lowball offer knowing floyd would reject and he could try to smear him/paint him as a ducker because he rejected it

I doubt it because if you had youd see Floyd was scared shitless whjen Tony confronted him. He was looking around for his goons to protect him he was TERRIFIED!!!!!!! He fought Shamba Mitchell for 3 or 4 million less than he could have fought Margarito for.

 

he could have fought Margo for little money, or he could of fought Baldomir for the belts and bigger money, he chose option #2 and I don't think he regrets it

ive seen the video.....and what i saw was tony coming up to him....floyd shaking his hand and looking him in the eye when speaking to him.....he didnt look scared at all......then later an interviewer is asking him questions and floyd looks bored and is looking around......honestly what do you guys realistically think is making floyd scared? he already talked to margarito so why is him moving his head and looking around somehow turning into "he was scared shitless of margarito".....they already talked and margarito wasnt even around.....do you think floyd was worried tony was gonna walk up behind him with a noose or something? the whole video is stupid pac fan propoganda......even arum going off first saying how floyd is scared of margarito....was nothing but arum trashing floyd after he left him and bought out his contract.....before that arum was quoting as saying that floyd agreed to take on margarito for 8 mil but it was the 10 mil guarantees he wanted for cotto and hatton that caused him to walk cause arum wouldnt pay that

 

It was common sense and Mayweather made the right decision. Take on a glove loading cheating scumbag who's biggest win was Andrew "Six Heads Zero Chins" Lewis or De La Hoya who's coming off a major victory over Mayorga and for the WBC title?. The result proves which fight was the better one and the record breaking PPV sales of Mayweather-DLH prove it. Fighting a glove loading cheat wouldn't have done **** for Mayweather's legacy compared to beating DLH and winning his fifth title at his fifth weight class. There's a reason only losers support the glove loading scumbag.
