I never said he got knocked down. I asked you how long it took him to recover from that punch in the 10th that had him out on his feet? A whole lot longer than Calzaghe took to recover from a kd that's for sure.

 

There is a difference though. Calzaghe never really backs off and goes on the retreat when he eats leather throughout a fight, whereas Dawson tends to go a bit tentative. I'm basing this on the Adamek fight and I haven't yet seen his fight with johnson.

imo hopkins did a fantastic job and threw calzaghe right off his normal gameplan,it was extremly close and i for 1 was nervous at the end,especialy because of your judges track record!!

The judge who had it wide to calzaghe was watching a different fight,but calzaghe come to fight,and i think if it's close,the attacker should always get the decision,which he was.

But all credit to hopkins i didn't think for 1 minute it would be that close,but he has shown he is a true legend.:happy

What do you define as a flash KD? Calzaghe was caught and stumbled backwards with B-Hop leaning slightly into him. He got up as soon as he was down. He was on the canvas for what? 1.5 seconds?

It was a mistake, he got nailed by a good shot, but when he got up his head was clear and the legs were fine which shows he wasn't really hurt at all
