15 rounds. I say Braddock is too much for Leon to handle.

Two of the worst heavyweight champions of all time. Leon knocks Braddock out if he trains seriously.

I dont know about that one. Braddock fought Baer and stood up to him. Not the best version of Baer, but still a dangerous puncher.

If the Spinks who beat Ali turns up he wins. But Braddock would be still be on his feet at the end.

I think Baer in 1935 was better than Ali in 1978, so on that basis, I'd pick Braddock by decision.

I think Braddock should be given the benefit of the doubt here.

Leon Spinks UD. Braddock was essentially a good journeyman type who overachieved based on his toughness and heart. He had limited size, and below average speed and power.

Spinks for all his flaws was better boxer in many areas. If Braddock had a better punch, he'd KO Spinks

Braddock had a beautiful straight right hand. Also a nice left jab.

Braddock was 6' 2.5" and weighed 197lbs when he fought Louis, that makes his an inch and a half taller than Spinks and only a quarter pound lighter than when Spinks beat Ali.:patsch

Braddock was actually a pretty good fighter. He beat Max Baer, Art Lasky, John Henry Lewis and a few other notables, then finished his career by giving a good account of himself against a prime Joe Louis. As long as Jim is well trained and well nourished when he enters the ring with Leon, he almost certainly wins.

Braddock was actually a good fighter at his best. Durable and strong and a first class spoiler. Spinks at his best drew with LeDoux and outhustled a very poor version of Ali.

I say, Braddock drops Spinks at least once and outpoints him.

I would pick a prime Braddock. Better skills, better chin, better resume.

Good match up. I see Braddock's superior skills being the key to victory.

Braddock wins by around three points.
