right, I've only been watching boxing for five minutes. I've been a member of this forum for a VERY long time. So obviously, its been longer then 5 minutes. My entire family has boxed. Not sure why I'm trying to explain this to you, all the posters that are worth a **** on here respect my opinion.

You just look like an ass.

Why would I go to bed at 12:30pm? I'm here for a long time yet.

Like I said I had Joe winning but he only landed a handfull of clean effective punches. And yes it was the workrate that did him in.

I scored it 114-113 for Joe but rounds 2,3,4, and 8 could have gone either way. I prefered the few clean shots Nard landed over Joes pitter patter fluries. With that said then your card isn't bad, just the way I saw it so lay off the insults and I won't insult you back.

I also had it 117-110, but 116-111 was ok.

It wasn't a blowout. I thought Hopkins won most of the early rounds. I felt it was not a close descision for Calzaghe but not a wide one either. I thought 115-112 or 116-111 would have been acceptable. In a big fight judges generally get nervous that they are scoring a land slide and thus score close rounds to the guy whose losing. So I'm not shocked or outraged or even care about the decision. The better man won. And Ive seen worse.

Had it 114-113 for JC. No robbery, close but clear.

I will also say this. At no point in the fight was I impressed by anything Calzaghe did. I was actually laughing at some of the combinations that both fighters were throwing at eachother cause they were so *****. But all credit to Joe he forced Bernard into doing that inorder to keep it looking like a close fight because he stopped getting hit with huge counter shots. I will say that I was impressed by alot of things that Hopkins did so again I don't see how a SD is that big of a shame. I can easily see a judge saying to himself..."sorry son this is boxing not high speed sholder dusting...land something affective or I'm giving it to the guy that is."

Again, I didn't see it that way but I'm not shocked that someone did.

Sorry for insults, you seem like a reasonable poster. I just anticipated this a while back, I will bump the post I made ahead of the fight about people not under-standing that Hopkins is going to lose rounds he gets out-landed in despite throwing the pretty looking punches.

Fight was not a close fight at all. Hopkins held all night.
