I quoted you in regards to you saying "Rigo has only ONE good win." I never said anything about Rigo vs. JMM the first time I quoted you... Was simply talking about Rigo's resume. :think
4 complete rounds. 2-2 a piece in rounds. + Donaire scored a big KD. Headbutts happen, dude. Rules are rule. Fight was official. Officially a 4 division champion (and only like the 12th one ever).
It is actually, I always get that reaction when I put him in my P4P list I think he is one of the best young fighters out there and has a good body of work at BW/SBW some other that are around my bottom 10 are Sergy, M.Garcia, Donaire, R.Gonzalez....obviously with Martinez losing and Marquez not being on mine Cruz who was around 9/10 moved up
You skipped the most important point. The cut was caused by a legit punch not by a headbutt as the judge ruled. Vetyeka should have kept his belt Donaire usurped the title with the help of some inept ref.:deal But YES, it's official:good
Watching again, truthfully it is impossible to say for certain whether it was the initial jab, the minor head clash or an elbow that then appears to land while Vetyeka is holding his left arm. He drops immediately after the elbow (and I see no blood before then). Can anyone interpret this? “Nakikita ko talaga na may elbow. Pagkatapos niya sumuntok, ang defense niya ay elbow,” he added. I think Donaire says it was the elbow that did it :yep.
P4P as in if they could magically be the same natural size... I would absolutely take Rigondeaux over JMM. :deal
Who's better P4P, Gonzalez or Rigondeaux? Remember that Gonzalez beat Estrada and Hirales. And he's already a two weight champion.
I didn't hear anyone claiming that Donaire was shot before Rigondeaux put the schooling on his ass. If he was shot it must have been because Rigo shot him. :yep
I agree with them. Remember the P4P list is about NOW not over a fighter's entire career. The question to ask is, can Rigo dominate his division? YES. Can JMM do the same today? NO.
