Andre Ward is going to promote his book. In other words, Ward fights like Algieri, though on a much higher level. But, the point is, Ward does not like to mix it up, only exchanges when he has to, and clinches a lot. This is why it should come as no surprise that he would talk up a performance like Algieri's last night. Essentially, what he was subtly doing was defending his own style. Of course, he is going to see Algieri as the winner.

Ok so what style was Roach defending when he told Ruslan that he needed a KO

Roach is notorious at employing this strategy, trying to motivate his fighter. He did the same thing against Bradley. Roach is not the swiftest guy in the business, though. You have cameras rolling and Roach is telling his fighter he is losing. Maybe in bygone days but not while the cameras are rolling. Roach is a great tactician but not a great strategist.

He knew they couldn't leave this up to the judges. Kinda like how Pac vs Bradley 1 went. Who the **** saw that one coming?
