I find it preposterous the idea of matching him against Pacquiao, no one would buy that PPV. That being said I wouldn't call him boring he just doesn't have a devastating punch he has a very exciting style for that type of boxing, but you don't expect a KO so you don't get invested in him. He tries to at least look slightly flashy which is more than can be said about someone like Rigo or Lara.
His style is pretty dynamic actually. He moves, throws in combination, throws a lot of punches. Even the way he slips punches is fairly broad (vs. a shoulder roll for instance). He lacks power, but I'd venture to say his style is entertaining to watch just based on the combos and the movement. That said, I think he'll have a couple of defenses and then lose to someone that can put him off of his game.
I thought at times, he looked like Ali in there, with a little less fluid upperbody movement. Once he got into his rhythm it was more exciting to watch. Throwing three and four punch combinations at range. He finally adjusted to getting hit with that left hook... if only he'd done that in the first 4 rounds people wouldnt be crying Robbery.
Too much of a coward to post under your real username you're everything that's wrong with this forum pu say.
so wait, people who watch boxing for boxing doesnt like when a fighter is boxing?atschatschatsch :dead
The kid threw damn near 1000 punches. A couple casual fans I was watching the fight with were very impressed with his speed and movement and volume of punching.
Fighting=Where any 2 fighters go in the ring and trade shots. Boxing=Hit and not get hit. What kind of fan are you. I've personally noticed any bum, hypejob or not gets more praise and pub than people with actual skill. Alot of you guys on this forum should really go watch UFC. It has amateurish skill and the cheap thrills of bums getting KTFO due to lack of real discipline and skill. I could give a **** about Algeri but come on. Boxing is a science. Rockem Sockem should receive no prestige.
