What if Wladimir Klitschko beats Fury, Wilder, and Pulev in next couple years

If he defeats Pulev and then collects the final belt he enters the too 5 to me.

 

He had the chance to fight Pulev. He chose non ranker Leapai instead

How many other decently respected champions would easily dispatch those three in their prime? Lots I'd wager.

 

It will go up, though this is not best HW era... At least Wlad will prove he'll fight any credible challenger out there...

Not at all. I think his legacy is cemented. Beating b, c guys won't add to a great run. The talent disparity at hw is shocking, his brother was his only competition.

 

SuzieQ, the first thing I thought of when I read the thread title is basically that I doubted Fury and Wilder would both be in title contention long enough. I don't not rate them but they're on shaky ground I think. One of them will get derailed. Either Stiverne on Wilder or Haye will screw everything up and manage to get his shoulder healthy enough and put Fury's lights out in one of his beloved domestic money fights and derail Wlad's shot at having a big name super sizer. If I had to bet I'd say Pulev, Stiverne and Ortiz will end up being his last three real opponents. Because I think Ortiz will be in the WBA circus as the ring leader soon.

I don't see a win over Fury being better than his wins over Povetkin, Haye, Ibragimov, Thompson, Chambers, Brock, Brewster, Mormeck, Peter, Chagaev, Rahman, Byrd, McCline, Mercer, Botha, Barrett, Wolfgramn, Shultz, etc any time soon.

 

Beating wilder would mean nothing, I'd give fury a good chance of actually beating him

not much, because there are no ATG's, or even borderline HOF'ers (at least as of now) in this era

 

True, he takes all comers. It's not his fault the talent is so limited. I can't see victories over any of these as doing much for his legacy though.
