WTF Ring HAS Rigondeaux over Marquez P4P

Mine is similar to The Rings:

1) Mayweather
2) Ward
3) Wlad
4) Pacquiao
5) Bradley
6) Marquez
7) Rigo
8) Froch
9) Alvarez
10) Stevenson

Wlad is getting seriously overlooked once again on many lists.

 

Marquez has 7 losses. That's a lot.

People have Rigo over Wlad which is nuts to me.

 

Rigo is ten times better than that roid addict.

 

You have Provodnikov top ten for giving Bradley a hard fight and a win over Alvarado? Good exciting fighter but I wouldn't have him there yet.

Not uncommon for fighters to look amazing before stepping up in fact many had Bute top ten or close to it Pre Froch.

GGG and Thurman appear to be great fighters also but I feel they need to prove themselves before they appear on a P4P list.

Also you took of Ward for not wanting to fight Kovalev, Ward wants to fight GGG who doesn't appear to consider the fight despite wanting to fight at 168 lbs against Chavez.

 

Rigs should be rated over Marquez. Rigs would have beaten a 126 pound Marquez as well.

 

Gonzalez is great but Rigondeaux is the better fighter in my opinion.

Donaire was top 5 P4P when they fought.

Fighters below 118 lbs do get over looked though on these lists.

 

Where would Rigondeaux be if he beats Frampton and LSC?

 

In my humble opinion rigo is the best p4p fighter on the planet but he just dosent have enough competition at his weight and he dosent have the drive to climb the weights

 

He probably should be fighting at 118. He is listed at 5'5, but he is more like 5'3. It gets to a point where you are simply giving up too much weight.

 

By the eye test, Rigo currently looks better. Accomplishments though, Marquez is way way out ahead. Comparing their recent accomplishments, knocking out Pacquiao is better than decisioning Donaire. So I see why you'd be incredulous.

But in all seriousness, whoever is doing the ring ratings the last couple of years has his head up his ass. You can't just move whoever Floyd Mayweather is fighting or whatever top prospect is getting a lot of hype up into the top ten for no reason.
