    No chance.

If he loses this fight, he'll be forced to fight a few lower level journeymen, then up his way back into contention like Russel has.

Not even his fans would be happy with a 3rd title shot without first proving he can compete in the pro ranks. And Im one of em.:deal

1-1 (1) in his first two fights. In his second pro fight he stepped in with an ex champion who gives everyone hell in Salido and the fight went down to the wire.

Tell me who GRJ's toughest opponent to date is again in his 20+ fights

Also whilst your at it what has HE done to deserve this fight?

Oh come on now, "proving he can compete in the pro ranks". As if he wasn't competitive with a seasoned vet champion in his 2nd pro fight. :patsch

And to the actual question, if Lomachenko loses then he will have to get some wins and work his way up the rankings.

Sorry, Odins beard answered the question more effectively than I did.

Not saying he "hasnt proven he can compete" in the pro ranks, but he proved he could not adjust and resorted to holding when Salido went downstairs early in the fight.
By doing so, he allowed himself to be ruthlessly fouled and the ref couldnt call it cuz of the holding....either blind ref, or the ref couldnt see....or he was allowing Salido to punish Loma for the holding....IDK...it was an ugly fight, but yeah, Loma PROVED he was elite by hanging on through all the low blows and nearly coming back with a KO in the 11th and 12th rds. :thumbsup

He'd have to build himself back up to it as others have said, but I suspect we'd see him get a title shot again within two years.

He should go after the weakest champion in the division "Gradovich" and i think Loma would beat the sh** out of him easy.

Yeah if GRJ beats him, Gradovich will be Loma's next opponen.

And after Gradovich beats him, it will be Walters, then Jhonny once he loses that.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, again and again and again. Hey, there' s something to be said for being the first ever 2-10 world champ, right?

He should have to work for it & properly earn his next shot.
