Russel is fast and has good speed with fairly T-rex arms if I can remember right. His level of opposition, however, is not what Loma has been facing both in the ams and in the pros. Loma is way more proven at this point and eventhough I haven't seen both boxe much (one fight each), and that Russell was more impressive in his fight, Russell is just total hype right now while Loma has more experience at this early in their respective careers. Russel's speed will slow down at some point and while Loma will start timing GRJ more and more has the fight moves on. Loma will than break down Russell and I suspect Russell to quit at this point like many others who had tromenduous talent and have had it easy in early stages of their careers.
Double knockout then George Foreman descends from the arena roof and picks them both up & takes them into boxing heaven. This is a fight I don't want to analyse beforehand to try and figure out who will win...just will enjoy watching it...
Guys think about this match up... Can it get any more interesting.:deal Fuk, this will answer so many questions about either guy. Or maybe not, guy with 20+ cab drivers against guy with 1-1 pro record. Who did the winner of this match up exactly beat? Fuken hell. Well I am really excited about fight itself. No idea what will happen:deal
well said, i think this is an exciting fight too. however, after the fight we know what this board will be like.:thumbsup
Will be a good fight it could be GRJ's coming out party but I think Lomochenko will take it on points.
Watching Loma's two Pro fights we see that Ramirez was pretty much the same level as Russell has been facing, and Saildo is the better fighter among them all. However Saildo is worn and at the end of his career and won due to his pro experience over amateur Loma. Loma hasn't faced anyone with Russell's talent and speed. This will be Loma's second Pro loss in only his third Pro fight.
Lomochencko by stoppage. If Gary was as good as hyped, he'd have been fighting real fighters a couple years already. High Tech tasted blood in his first fight against a guy who came in big enough for WW and who was a tough out for Gamboa, Garcia, and prime JuanMa. Russell's the one entering the deep end of the pool tonight.
I really like this fight and like both guys so I don't have a much of a preference as to who wins though I'd very slightly pull for Russell. I think Lomachencko gets the win but its such an interesting and hard to predict fight. Really could see this fight ending in any way possible I just hope we don't get the whole thing ruined with a bad decision. I see this as close to 50/50 but lean slightly towards Lomachenko and maybe by stoppage.
