The hand speed of GR. Jr will make up for the lack of reach.

Reach isn't what you'd expect when your punches are slow motion compared to lightning.

All you have to do is watch the last three or four rounds of Russell Jr vs Gusev, (two fights ago, a ten rounder).

Gary hurt his left hand badly in the middle of the fight and he fought the rest of the fight with pretty much only his right hand (south paw, right handed jab). He knows how to use his jab very very well.

Lomachenko doesn't have a jab, as we saw against Salido, against who a Jab would have been a life saver.

again, watch the closing rounds (8,9 and 10) against Gusev to see Russell pumping a scoring jab with effectiveness (and hooking off it too).

Russell like to hook off of the jab also. In that fight after he hurt his left hand you could see Russell throwing the jab and following up by hooking off of it very effectively.
Russell's hand speed and punching technique is far superior to Loma's and I expect to see Loma get tagged plenty with combinations before he can even blink his ****** eyes.

While I don't agree that Loma has ****** eyes (whatever that means) I do agree that he is going to get dusted off by Russell Jr.

The first round is going to be very telling.

Lomachenko got apprehensive with engaging Salido in the opening rounds due to Salidos IDGAF attitude and if Russell get's Lomachenko apprehensive due to speed early on it's going to be a long night for Hi'Tech.

I think Lomachenko is Gym Work for Russell Jr.
When its all said and done, if Jr gets the W (which he should) hype is going to be the only thing that separates this fight from any of Russell's other fights.

    Good work!
I agree with everything you wrote.

Look at Donnie Yen's new movie, ****** King which is based on an ancient Chinese tale about the immortal King Of The Monkkeys.
Donnie imitates the movements of a ******, including eye movements.
Loma's eyes work the same way. He naturally iis the ****** king in gestures. :yep

Loma doesn't really step into his much. GRJ makes more of an emphasis on scoring with his. Loma uses his well to set up his offense though and closing distance.

You use the jab to maintain or close distance.
You also use it to setup combination punching.
If Loma walks into Russell and doesn't do it behind a jab he will take a lot of counter shots for his trouble.
Loma likes to get inside and hook to the body and head, but Russell won't be staying inside and will take a back step before jabbing again. :yep
