Because, that will be the key to victory. How do they perform against a same stance style of fighter? What adaptations do they make. Based on what I've seen, I think Russell's style would adapt better to a same stance fighter; however, Loma has the longer reach. I'm also sure Loma faced multiple southpaws in the Olympics. Either way... I would like to see some footage if anybody knows of any same stance fighters they performed against.
Thanks, Sarge. Honestly, that's how I envisioned Lomachenko fighting against southpaws. I don't think that's a good thing. Lomachenko obviously has a lot of natural talent, but I think his lack of PRO experience is going to cost him in this fight. I think Russell is going to win and possibly by KO.
No worries. I'm trying to find Russell's fight against Sergey Vodopyanov (the guy in the first video Loma beat) but I can't seem to track it down. He beat Russell quite convincingly.
