He's 3 fights in.....give him time. He will certainly attract interest from top trainers wether that be a US or pro trainer from another country with the right credentials. Right now he's growing as a pro....at a very accelerated pace. He needs to slow down a little and fight guys on Russell's level for a few more fights then think about expanding his style by incorporating a new trainer.

I think he beats Donaire at this stage. Donaire doesn't seem to have the desire for boxing and Loma is very hungry.

Yes he lost to Salido but it was close against a much bigger opponent who got away with multiple fouls and hometown officiating. It's not as though he was destroyed.

Plus I like how people tried to claim he lost to an old/ shot Salido. Salido has only lost to Gamboa and Garcia since 2009 and he was coming off a devastating win over Orlando Cruz.

Lomochenko has done good in his first 3 fights he does need a couple of fights prior to Rigondeaux but he's not far behind at all. Lomochenko is very special.

Wow, Loma looked GREATLY improved last night compared to the Salido fight.

He's only going to get better the more fights he has.

I agree, but I think he takes unnecessary damage at this point in time. Give Lomo more seasoning before throwing him in with dangerous fighters like Donaire and Walters. Lomo himself said he'd need about 10 fights before he'd challenge Rigo.

OK, who do you suggest should train him? Virgil Hunter? Sugar Hill?

    Stupid thread.

This is the guys third professional fight. It usually takes guys years before they are fighting at his level. After years of amateurs, he all of a sudden goes into 12 rounders?? it's murky waters, he has to pace himself.

I personally think he wanted to bank rounds, it's not like he was being outclassed, he just conserved his energy and stayed out of trouble before the next surge.

Lomachenko has forgotten more about boxing than Roach and Garcia know combined.

What a weird post considering there's been, at best, a handful of guys in history you could argue have fought that level of competition their first three fights.

    Maybe Rademacher, Muangsurin....

^agree completely. Abel Sanchez would be great for him. Offensively sound but defensively competent

Roach would be perfect IMO. Offensive style, head movement, roll under. Look at Cotto, Pac specially the old Pac who had similar bobbing and weaving style, Provodnikov.

Garcia or Roach? These are two offensive trainers. Loma's fine with his current trainer.

Most of the top EE fighters have American trainers.

I think Angelo Dundee would be a good fit for him.
