I will be sad, Bums like Froch and GGG will claim to be the top men from 160-168. SOG will clean out the division and bums like GGG and Kovalev will be scared.
I've always been a big fan of Ward but his inactivity has killed all that momentum he built up from the Super 6. With all these long stretches of inactivity coupled with him coming off being a bit unlikeable every other time he gives a quote he has made himself almost irrelevant and it feels like he's practically retired in the first place. I don't want him to retire but if he did it wouldn't be a big deal because he doesn't fight anyways.
It would be a horrible waste of his talents and ability to retire now. I'd be shocked and disappointed if he actually did retire. But I seriously doubt anything that comes out of Ward's mouth these days he tries so hard to seem to not be bothered by his current predicament, saying he doesn't need to chase anyone, Kovalev is a pointless fight and he could retire now and be happy. I don't believe a word of it. He's trying to feint a position of strength when in reality his career is in a downward spiral due to his inactivity and unwillingness to admit he is not in the driving seat despite being the premier fighter at super middle. He hasn't made anywhere near enough money to retire now and be comfortable the rest of his life, especially with this costly legal dispute.
If his contract is so **** just finish it out fighting anybody and sign with a different promoter. Sitting on his ass fighting no one is doing him no favors and only prolonging the contract
LOLOL :rofl Was he just like ward? Real self entitled?? Droopy faced idiot? Could have been a CEO but whined and cried all the time lmao
