Salido is a different animal altogether than Russell, certainly not the kind of guy I'd want to put a 1 fight pro in with, but props to Lomachenko for going for the gusto so early in his career. The win is somewhat marred by the weight debacle though.

I'm a fan of Salido but he pulled some serious ***** moves when he fought Loma. He came in over the weight (which I utterly despise) and then fought as dirty as the incompetent ref would allow all the while nearly being stopped late.

All this against a 1 pro fight novice. Shameful. I was so pleased when he destroyed Juanma and then he turned into a grade a maricon.

Maybe Cruz rubbed off on him :rofl

Joking aside, I think that someone is wrong here. Most people say Salido is ordinary and most people are also saying that Loma is a freakish talent. An ordinary fighter shouldn't be able to beat a freakish talent regardless of his approach. Its either that Salido is better than people give him credit for or that Loma, while still definitely a good talented fighter, is not the freakish talent people are making him out to be. I'd say its a little of both. As in, Salido is better than people say and that Loma isn't quite as good as people say.

Win what?, the challenge of further confirming your cabdriving ancestry?, if that's the case you won by a mile. "Castillo(the scumbag) is better than Corrales(Rest in Peace) despite weighing as a Light Welterweight in the rematch against the Lightweight Corrales". You won alright, now continue your victories on this planet and deliver those meals on time.

Bleeding out the v@g over 3.5 pounds. :rofl You're a sad little mad. Castillo was the better fighter. He beat Corrales in a RM and kicked Mayweathers ass while Corrales became part of Mayweather's highlight reel. I like Corrales too but he wasn't the fighter that Castillo was. Lets put it up to a poll you little fairy.

Salido is definitely better than a lot of people realise. Mainly due to his very deceptive record.

Again, I don't expect a delivery man to understand what 3.5 athletic pounds means and how much it's worth if you break the rules. Now wonder you deliver junk food for a living.

I'm of the belief that Salido had no intention making weight and was looking for every advantage he could get. Coming in as overweight as Salido did is a big deal, particularly for a guy who makes his hay pressuring and taking the fight to his opponent. On top of that, there was no rehydration limit. Had Salido made weight, even with the low bows, he would've gotten ko'd.

Salido still has the blueprint to beat Vasyl. Fight dirty and hope a ref is incompetent because you aren't going to outbox that guy. Also, Vasyl seems to take a good shot. Gradovich v Vasyl is something that should happen this year

Loma losing the Salido fight had less to do with Salido beating Loma as it was fouls by Salido coupled with Loma's inexperience at the professional level. He simply waited too long to go after Salido. Loma is the far superior fighter. A rematch would prove this in dramatic fashion.
