Yeah, I'm not sure what this thread is saying. I didn't see any disrespect shown by Loma. He obviously doesn't speak English so what was he going to do? Maybe you missed him shaking Russell's hand or patting him on his back?
Aww he didn't get on his knees and sucked grj's ****. Maybe cause all the **** talking get was doing b4 the fight?
Great post and the GGG/Stevens fight was a perfect example. Unfortunately most people have no concept of this and would rather watch two people argue and call names because they are dumb and this is the only way to penetrate their feeble, poisoned mindsets.
Most Russian boxers are pieces of shits... never gets mentioned or acknowledge though because they aren't black, or else they would be "thugs".
Are you saying that criminal indescretions only get mentioned if the perpetrator is Black? Do you have any facts to support your broadbrush claims regarding Russian fighters. The only examples I can recall of Slavic fighters having criminal records were all Poles. Golota Szpilka Kostecki To the contrary: Fighters from overthere seem to be the most universally well behaved group.
No, my point is that the black athletes don't even have to have criminal records to be called "thugs", which is really just a codeword for ******. Kovalev has killed a man in the ring and constantly taunts his opponents when they're knocked out and calls people bitches and *****s. Malinaggi was one of the biggest shittalkers in the sport. I have no words for what comes out of Tyson Fury's mouth. But all these guys are considered "loveable and charismatic". If they were black, I doubt the same would be said.
jez you have problems. You're making everything racial. white this, black that. you can't go around calling Cubans, Russians, Ukrainians, white people inn general cowards when you never stepped up to their level. Sounds to me like you're jealous of whites or something. you must have a sad sour life if all you do is come on to just post negative comments like a coward you are.
I wouldn't say he let me down, at all. It was a boxing clinic on how footwork and timing trump speed. Sure, he didn't get the stoppage, but it was a convincing win. I'm glad he didn't destroy him in a stoppage. If you start destroying strong opponents out of the gate of your career, all of a sudden no one wants to fight you. I will say Loma might still be a bit too conservative or economical with the punches. He's hesitant to throw without an opening. I'd like to see him throwing to create openings more; using more opportunity-making combos and not waiting for openings so much. I think his hesitancy to throw could be a problem, but he's still transitioning into the pros physically and mentally, so I'm not overly concerned by it at this point.
