Who is the one fighter you would point to and say that he's the "perfect" fighter, or most complete?

I would say it's Floyd Mayweather, Ricardo Lopez, or Salvador Sanchez.

    There is no perfect fighter...

It's literally impossible be perfect...so much criteria must be met.

I wanna say Roy if he had a more traditional defense....so that when his reflexes went he still could hold his own

Sugar Ray Robinson, Henry Armstrong, Mickey Walker, Muhammad Ali, Roberto Duran were all missing something, but as close as it comes to the perfect fighter.

There is no perfect fighter, but Ricardo Lopez, Duran (when he wasn't partying), Leonard and Robinson came pretty close.

In terms of fundamentals...Ricardo Lopez's style was a thing of beauty.

    Edit:
I also forgot a prime Roy Jones. Lacking in pure fundamentals, but a freak athlete that can do almost anything he wants.

Prime RJJ was almost too good. Crazy fast, powerful, elusive...a H2H nightmare for anyone.

Leonard had a really good combination of power, speed, boxing skills, solid chin. He was also entertaining as hell to watch.

For my liking, Floyd is one of the best defensive boxers ever. A true boxing master. I don't rate his offensive arsenal, barely any combinations. To label him a "fighter" is misleading, he is a pure boxer.

Hagler was really one of the most complete, well rounded boxers to step in the ring. Solid in almost every field with no glaring weaknesses. Heart of a champion too.
