If his chin can hold up. He could be a nightmare matchup for most guys at 147.

He's 5'10. 5'11 with the shoes on. Really good hand speed, and a 71" reach.

Add to the fact that Virgil has him holding on to guys like a recently deflowered woman, and you have a matchup that no one wants anything to do with.

It's Khan defense, not his chin. I mean he chin isn't great, but it isn't terrible either. He goes down from death shots. Not from jabs and ****.

With that chin of his he's a nightmare match-up for himself. The only contender mentioned that he has a SLIGHT chance against is Guerrero and that is pushing it. Anyone else will further cave his despicable jaw in some more. :secret

Khan's chin isn't the problem. It's his defense. When he gets dazed or hurt, it's because he's taking DEATHSHOTS. He's not going down from jabs and other ****, that Danny Garcia counter hook, flush on the neck is going to put down most people. Maidana's flurries, are going to hurt most people. It's the defense. Not the chin.

edit: it's the chin too. Just not as much as the defense.

He's always been a matchup for any fighter since his time at lightweight. The problem is he tries to trade when he should be boxing peoples heads off, his chin not as bad as people say as was said above its his defence which hopefully Virgil is improving for him.

When you get knocked out by Prescott and Garcia, and floored by Diaz, it's safe to say you can't take a punch.

He got knocked out by Prescott.

He got dropped by a perfect counter hook on the neck by Garcia. And the ref stopped the fight the next round.

Diaz knockdown was more about balance than it was about him being hurt.

    With all due respect, VG.

Khans physical dimensions and speed should make him a nightmare at all the weights he's fought at.

Khans problem is he doesn't react well when hit flush. Non punchers have hurt him and floored him and I don't buy the weight drained excuse. Plus for a fighter who is physically big he isn't physically strong, the way Peterson was bullying him around the ring at times was quite alarming.

I think Khan will be in some exciting fights at 147 but he will never be top dog.

I would pick Porter to rough Khan up and stop him.

Peterson may not have dropped Khan but he did hurt him several times throughout the fight.

Khans super speed back-pedalling put a stop to that.

I think Porter would walk right through Khan.

Now khan with a good chin would tear a new ******* to most 147lbers. Khan would be undefeated if he had a good chin.

    No he is not.

Even with his improvements, he still has technical flaws a mile long, and his skills still get overrated due to his speed.

He sure as hell won't be a nightmare matchup for Floyd, who even at his age, will take him to school. His ring skills and IQ are infinitely better.
