does any one think pulev has a chance in this one? will he be another punch bag. his upright style, his jab safe style, his average power and mediocre speed. hes also less mobile than povetkin so it will be less of a klinchko fest, more a punchbag fest. he needs to apply body attack straight away and use his bigger frame to outstrength klitchko. really rough him up inside, thats almost a catchphrase for a wlads opponent. but he really does need to dig into wlads ribs and let his stamina deplete. Pulev needs to show a wach-esque style chin aswell because he will be hit alot. i dont see him outjabbing wlad, so hes gonna have to show something new in this one. but pulev is still the best opponent out there currently, just hope he puts up a good fight. he doesnt look the type to be intimidated so thats a good sign.
Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing. Ali
And another one by the GOAT: Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill, and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.
Pulev has a ton of grit and determination. He also has fast hands and although he doesn't utilize his feet, they can be quick when he does. His issues are, he is going up against a bigger man, with a better jab and a far bigger punch. His style is too stand up and European amateur style. He is going to eat a lot of leather and it will bust him up. Good fight but I have a hard time seeing Pulev with his defense winning it.
The whole dig into Klischko's body is a myth. He has never been dropped from a body punch, and you're going to get your face caved in if you go at him swinging for body shots throughout the night.
50/50 fight....pulev is a very decent boxer with underrated power. he,s pretty fast and clever no way is this a easy fight for WK !
He defnitly has a chance, everyone has a chance but the question is, how big is his chance and is he able to use it. The Chance for me is like the purse, so 20/80 but this 20 is a chance.. but i think the chance will reduce to 0 as longer the fight goes. He has to be present from the first bell on, he has to hit him early, he just can beat him early, in the first rounds, if the fight goes to the second half, Wlad will destroy him like hell. I see a TKO 9-11 for Wlad
Kubrat won't Wlad bully him with his size and strength, Wlad will need to box more and will have to work for the W for once
Pulev is one of Wlad's best opponent of the last couple of years but in my opinion lacks the tools to beat him. He's somewhat of a Wlad light version, a poor man's Wlad if you will. Pulev does a lot of things very well, but in every case less as the champ himself. He's tall, but Wlad's taller. He has a very good jab with very good reach, but Wlad has an even better jab and even bigger reach. He's very technical and can adjust to his opponent, but Wlad is more technical and can completely shut him out. And then there's the #1 ingredient to beat Wlad wich is a big punch, wich he just doesn't have. There will always be a chance, it just is a very small one in this case.
Yes he has a chance. The best chance of all the contenders at the moment. He's big and has a solid punch. But more importantly, he has the ability to land as he's technically very sound. If Wlad KOs him I won't be surprised. But if Pulev makes it a close fight or even manages to win somehow, I won't be surprised either.
Pulev may have a chance if he's rock solid and can endure a severe beating then clobber an exhausted Klitschko---assuming Klitschko's not going to use his Lennox Lewis jab-grab style. I suspect what we will really see is Klitschko TKO Pulev by timing Pulev's jab and throwing a right cross over it.
