I'd probably go with this although that's me ranking on a mixture of skill and what they have achieved, it we are talking purely skill then I make a few changes like moving Thurman up above Maidana.

 

Neither Brook or Khan should be in anyone's top 10 until they actually beat a top 10 fighter at the weight.

 

I was basing it on both Maidana has done more especially the last year, Broner may have been a hype job but he did really well against Mayweather when everyone including me was expecting a shutout. I actually rate Thurman as a better fighter then everyone on the list bar Mayweather and Pacquiao but he has to go prove it.

Khan's not spent to much time up at 147, but what he has done already tops what Brook has done.

Collazo is a solid WW, coming off the back of a decent win himself. Khan was superb on the night. Also the added fact that he does hold a win over another 'big' name in the division, which while I know the fight wasn't at 147, it was only at 1 division below so that win still holds some decent value as well.

Brook needs to take his career by the scruff of the neck now and start delivering, which I hope he does.

 

Collazo was awful. He fought like he'd just been dragged from the pub, as I've said previously Chris Leben from the UFC has better boxing skills than what Collazo showed that night.

Plus Luis was about 4 years past his sell by date.

Yes Khan did well but it was nothing special.

 

Collazo was a good win, sure you can point to him not fighting well but he is a solid WW, coming off a big win against Ortiz and many including me thought he would give Khan serious problems, just because Khan boxed very well and dealt with him easily doesn't mean it's not a solid win.

 

It was a good win over a solid veteran. But let's be real Collazo wasn't top 10 and although he beat Ortiz let's be real Ortiz was GBP hype right from the start who whilst talented has always found a way to lose.

Khans team picked a veteran in Collazo who whilst a name was far from his best. Now hopefully he will try to fight a Thurman, Porter, Maidana (rematch) prior to claiming he's owed a Mayweather fight.

 

He will go nowhere near Thurman or Porter i guarentee that, i reckon if it's not Floyd, Gurrero might be his next fight or Alexander.

 

They would be good fights to gauge how Khan truly fairs at 147.

I'd like too see him in with Guerrero, I think it's a true 50/50 fight.
