It depends on the punch - How hard GGG is swinging and how perfectly it landed. There is a good chance Jones would get dropped, beat the count and school GGG. There is also the chance it could end up like Tszyu vs Judah, Marquez vs Pacquiao 4, Froch vs Groves 2 etc. GGG being able to land a KO punch or beat a prime RJJ is unlikely though.

Jones was hit by bigger guys and didn't flinch ! There is nothing worse than posters who overrate fighters who have fought no one !

From an interesting article by Doug Fischer on the RingTV about Gennadiy Golovkin's training camp.

David Imoesiri, who sparred with Povetkin and Golovkin:

"The dude can hit, I’m still getting used to it,” said Imoesiri “It’s crazy. I sparred with [undefeated WBA heavyweight beltholder] Alexander Povetkin and he never hurt me like this guy.

“I must have done 50 rounds while in camp with Povetkin and it was three and half weeks before he hit me with something that made me hold on. With Golovkin I was ready to get out of the ring 45 seconds into our first round of sparring. He hit me with two lefts to the body in the identical spot and had me doubled over. I got through it but it’s hard to defend against 6-inch punches with that much pop. He backs me into a corner with just a jab. And it seems like he does it effortlessly.”

Lets use sparring stories as a measuring stick for what would happen to Roy if GGG landed.

Definition of a hype job = When sparring stories are used validate their greatness, and they haven't beat any great fighters.

    Roy doesn't have that problem.

Roy took hard shots from Toney, Ruiz, Tarver, Griffin and wasn't knocked out until his 50th fight at the age of 35..

GGG should be the one in question, not Roy.
