So you believe Sergio's legs will look perfectly fine in his next fight?

Not a chance Cotto will take on Golovkin.

Martinez made Lou promise not to make a single excuse as to why he lost. No doubt he told his entire team that. Martinez wants to lose with class.

But anyone with two eyes could see martinez moving like an old man in there. Was pitiful.

That was the most pitiful version of martinez to ever step into the ring. His knees, his athleticism, his ability, his timing, his durability. He needs to retire.

Anyone who couldnt tell martinez was a shell in there needs to re-evaluate their ability of perception.

Martinez made no excuses because he said going into the fight he was perfect which he wasnt, he would have looked like a liar if he then blamed it all on his knees

if you have any understand gait or movement analyses you can see that sergio wasnt able to put weight on his knee hence why his movement was terrible he couldnt generate any power and why he kept falling down because when he did use his knees to hold him up they couldnt

cotto should either fight ggg or vacate the title, the fact that thering now rate him as the number one middleweight is a joke

I do not know if this lineal MW title thing is more sad or disgusting? Regardless of how it plays out you can be assured whomever gets that belt/distinction will not go anywhere near GGG. Then the usual chorus of "when GG gon fite sumwon" will be put on a loop.

If GGG wants fights they will have to be at SMW.

Who's he supposed to fight at 68.... Chavez turned it down....Froch publicly said he was afraid and K2 was told Ward was unavailable to entertain offers atm.....

I guess Bika would make the fight, but Chavez would need more STEPASIDE $$$$$ than either Bika or GGG would make, Abe won't fight anyone outside Sauerlands stable and Tony Dirrel ain't got no $$$$ or titles to make leaving worth it.....

I guess Kessler would take it...Sanchez would but he might turn out to be GGG kryptonite.

Soliman has publicly stated he'd fight GGG.....

GGG and K2 basically need to give themselves away for free though b/c the IBF has an eliminator scheduled a week or so later.

K2 needs to be negotiating that fight NOW.

At least with 2 titles GGG will get the best contenders while Cotto Quillin or whoever get stuck with the LMWs, WWs and Blevels like Lee and Mora and Rubio.

O.K. fine, then GGG will pursue unification at MW. It is all six and one half doxen of the other. According to some he will not get big fights at SMW and he sure as Hell will not get a shot at the lineal MW title. So the crux of the issue remains. How is he going to get a big fight, nevermind when?

Obviously GGG should have his eyes on the lineal, but I don't see Cotto wanting it and GGG shouldn't be sitting around waiting

Geale's as good as anyone at 160, Murray looks likely for next year in Monacco, and if Soliman is willing (and I think HBO will pay well for the unifier) I think those 3 fights would put him inarguably astride the division.

'Course - Quillin's strap would be nice too - let's see if we get a mando between Kid C and the Korobov - Bolivita winner to get the WBO belt back into circulation.

If Cotto still won't fight him by mid 2015 after these 3 or 4 more fights I think it'll be time for him to be looking at SMW.
