Yeah, because trainers never lie to their fighters to gee them up. Nor would they ever suspect that, on foreign soil, the judges might screw their man in a close fight.

He's a bit of an idiot at times but Enzo Calzaghe got it completely right in the corner for this style of fight. Freddy Roach seemed a bit lost for ideas as the fight wore on.

Well in the fight I was watching BHOP started strong but faded rapidly. He looked his age by the end. In his younger days this would have been a different fight. He was basically out thought. Granted he landed the clearer shots, but they were no were near enough to carry the card. His style was extremely negative and within boxing the credit is now given to the aggressor. I thought BHOP should have been deducted a point early on to prevent all that holding, which ruined the fight imo. Bottom line: Calzaghe won a very ugly fight - for me, by 4 rounds.

What a shocking scorecard. But you'd expect nothing less from someone who's been laughed out of the Classic Section everytime he posts there. Must be the Roids getting to his head.

that was to ensure that calzaghe didn't start coasting, he knew they weren't losing, it's called motivation.

Relax man. Obviously you're a Hopkins fan. I can give a rat's ass about either of these guys but Calzaghe won it. The one judge should be fired. In the beginning it was Bernard's fight but Calzaghe took over and ran with it. End of story.
