@nonito smoak no mate it wasn't a fanboy post it was the truth, ur right tho the KDs wernt flukes ofcourse it was a products of gamboa being reckless and dropping his hands to win over the judges, he wasn't worn out he had it in him to outbox terrence for the twelve albeit at a slower pace with the risk of getting robbed so he went for it!

I get what you are saying...

But it is such a small factor to the equation of what actually happened that having that as your opinion of the fight comes across as a little biased or bitter.

Of course, Gamboa's decline has nothing to do with the fact that Crawford adjusted, found his range with the jab after turning southpaw, and started to time Gamboa on the way in with shots to the body, does it? Ultimately, Crawford was able to command the range better than his opponent, and that's what won him the fight.

Crawford was just setting up Gamboa,,... He knew Gamboa would push the action sooner or later because of the reach disadvantage, he changed his stance from Orthodox to southpaw to catch Gamboa coming in. Gamboa move in wild and Crawford caught him with a short right hook, down he goes..... The rest of the fight was just a combiantion of Gamboa being wild with his hands down and Crawford being good and accurate...

    I don't think that's true.

I had Gamboa winning two of the first 4 rounds. So did all three of the judges.

Compubox had Crawford with a much higher percentage landed. Higher number thrown too.

That's pretty consistent with how I saw it.

Gamboa, IMO, gave him a bit of a thrashing in one of the early rounds, but Crawford adjusted and from round 5 onwards was laying bombs on Gamboa at will. Gamboa's legs didn't recover until the last round - when he was knocked the **** out!

Talent means jack**** if you don't have the ring intelligence.

Ur right gamboa is way more talented than crawford better technique and skills, he has ring intelligence look at the first 4 rounds, but yeh gamboas skills mean nothing when hes waving his chin up in the air, he gets sucked in alot

Crawford was smart enough to know there was only one way Gamboa could win the fight, and he simply gameplanned around it. Props to Crawford and his corner for planning and executing the right strategy to counter Gamboa's- it was obvious what Gamboa had to do to win, and they were ready for it.

Gamboa's fight plan was risky, but it was the only way he could've won on Crawford's turf. Picking spots on the outside for a full 12 isn't going to get you a win on the road.

Wtf are you guys going on about. That's exactly how Gamboa fights. He didn't get "careless" and drop his hands all the sudden. Green, get a grip, tc is the far superior boxer in every aspect. Gammy got caught with a right hook counter, and that was the beginning of the inevitable end. ..

Once tc, the better boxer, had gams timing down it was over.
And green, gammy the far inferior boxer completely dominated the Cuban ranks, hardly ever losing. Yet in the pro ranks he is more than not the lesser boxer in the Ring. His speed took him as far as he can go.

Stfu about Cubans this Cubans that. Don't mean ****. Not where you're from, people are born with it or they're not

    Cuban kid,
Is this the first time you seen gams fight ? Drop his hands, lmfao, he got timed and countered. That's what the better boxers do to the lesser boxers. Rigo is a top talent but he has reached his peak. . And gams dominated Cubans for years. He was the best Cuban by far. You think he could have kept edging the rounds against a better boxer ? You are lost my friend. Tc was getting the timing down the first few rounds. That was obvious to anyone who knows this sport.

    Cubans, lmfao
