the way i see it, it was a competitive fight i think i only gave it to floyd by 2 or 3 rounds (and i predicted a 11-1 domination from floyd).

alot of posters came out in huge numbers protesting the decision saying they felt maidana won the fight, will those same people call the rematch a cherry pick ? because i think rematching someone you supposedly lost to (or atleast had a very tough time with) is one of the ballsiest moves (especially when you have everything to lose)

so is there anyone here who thinks MAYWEATHER V MAIDANA II is a cherry pick ?

Yes because Mayweather will include stipulations in the fight.

For one, he was disastisfied with the referee the last fight, so he will make sure the ref is working for him.

He will put in a clause about gloves.

And he will likely increase the ring size.

He will do everything he can to make this a less comeptitive fight.

it will be a running contest next time around.

the judges and the new ref will be there just in case.

pillows will be in the contract this time.

lots of people gonna be disappointed in this fight.

It's not a cherry pick when almost 20% of Manny's fights are rematches. When Floyd rematches someone, it's a cherry pick. It's that hypocrisy thing.

he had to face the same **** when he was trying to make it big like in the delahoya fight, the champion earnt those rights. the glove issue i felt was wierd because the second pair of the MX gloves were approved (first blue ones were not) so there lwas literally NOTHING floyd could do about it if they chose to use em but come fight night he was wearing powerlocks

the ref point is complete and utter bull****, maidana was easily the dirtier of the 2 with his low blows and even throwing muay thai knees ? like something like a low blow can seem accidental but a knee? come on that should have been instant point deduction. that said floyd used his elbow in this fight and should also be punished accordingly. i just feel without rough and dirty tactics from maidana i feel floyd would easily outbox him. in one of wards latest fights it was as dirty and foul filled in the first 1 or 2 rounds just like floyd maidana except the ref stopped the fight pulled both fighter sin and have then a good minute stern warning saying this **** has to stop and he wont tolerate it from here on out, and the fight was clean and much more enjoyable to watch after that, THATS A REF'S job.

This. Pac has multiple rematches with Barrera, Morales, Bradley and Marquez. But I dont care to entertain the *******s so to answer your question

    Absolutely not.

The first fight wasnt a blow out (I predicted it would be tough and everyone called me stupid http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=500108)

but seeing that the first fight was a good one, and entertaining, and Chino did better than anyone expected, this could be a good fight.

It actually has shades of Jones-Tarver II, (not saying hes going to get knocked out) but it does have shades of that fight.

All in All, I think this is a good fight. Chino deserves another crack at it.

Remind you, the same people here commenting that its a cherrypick are the same ones who were saying that "Chino was a cherrypick gone wrong " "Void won't fight him again because he knows he lost the first time"

If he didn't rematch Maidana, people would be saying he knows its because it wont be an easy fight, and now that he does, its a cherrypick. Its all unjustified blind hate. DOn't even entertain it.

theftjr should fight pac and ggg to save his legacy.

he already avoided a prime pac.

he has to or risk being remembered as the coward who ran from a midget.
