Both Roy and Floyd are/were well past their primes.
Both have been going up in down weight classes.
Both have wins over the B side, but controversial

I had a thread saying that it would be a tough fight for Floyd here

This fight is going to be special. I feel it.

I think it has shades of a dominant win for Mayweather.

Yeah, he's past his prime. I don't think Maidana will knock Floyd out though. Floyd will probably win on points. People get old. There are some that think Pacquiao of 2009 is still around.

Nah, Floyd is a lot more intelligent and technically superior than Roy. He can easily maintain a high level into his early 40's

Couldn't agree more. I honestly think that Floyd, provided he continues to take the disciplinary path of hard work and dedication, can ride this high level out until December, 2017. Which would be just two months before his 41st birthday.
