Ricky could hit Scott with his kitchen sink and still wouldn't move him. Personally cant remember Scott ever hitting the floor in a fight, and someone with no real power like Ricky wouldn't be first to do it m8

If this fight was made it would remind me of murray v crolla. Harrison would give it everything and have a bit of success early but burns would be to acurate pick him of til he tired and stop him on his feet by volume of punches

Scott was dropped by an African in Belfast that's the only time I remember but that was at FW, IMO he was hurt a few time against Liam Walsh hence he couldn't raise the pace later in the fight
and Ricky punches harder and faster than Liam IMO.
End of the day if Ricky goes up in weight I simply don't see the fight happening, years ago it would have been good at say SFW.
As always I wish Scott well but folk need to get real on here

On a different theme Billy do you think the tactics Peter Harrison got Willie Limond to follow played a big difference in his performance v Woodhouse, and made the difference? Seemed like his tactics outfoxed Ryan Rhodes/Woodhouse by making sure he could hardly land any clean right handers

yes excellent tactics he kept moving side to side not allowing Curtis to plant his feet to use his right hand has much has he'd have liked.
Moog Peter is a very good tactician has I've said before if Peter had went to London 10-15 years ago boxers would have flooded him with requests to train them

you missed my post i did say Scott Harrison was a great fighter back in his day, it is 9 years since he was at his best, Ricky Burns would hammer him in about 7 rounds, especially if he went back to Billy

It isn't just power that knocks fighters down. Harrison is at a point in his career now where an intelligent boxer like Ricky could wear him down, when the body is completely beaten it doesn't take a Tyson hook to knock them out

Ricky is not an intelligent boxer! If he was he would not have been getting hit all night from Zlaticans wild swipes (same shot all night). What he is, is one of the fittest boxers in the world, u can tell the reports that he out trains everyone in the gyms are true.

Judging by Ricky's last few performances he looks on the slide and there now should be no more talk of him being too good for Scott Harrison. I know Crawford was top notch, but he hardly broke a sweat taking the title off Ricky. As for Zlaticanin Burns should have taking care of him as it was a big step down from his last few opponents.
Now with Ricky looking at domestic level there isn't a bigger fight than Harrison. I've mentioned previously that Harrison-Burns would be closer than people think. Whether Scott could roll back the years is another matter, but i'm sure if Scott Harrison had full training camp behind him he would fancy his chances of beating Ricky Burns and I for one wouldn't disagree with him.

Id be up for watching it. Both past the best but it would still be an interesting match. Be one where both just give it their all I reckon and definately worth watching. I would pick Burns to win despite poor showings the last 2 fights.

No more than 7 rounds if Ricky applied pressure sorry Ryan and moog but that's what would happen
Scott doesn't hit hard enough at LW to bother Ricky but Ricky speed and volume of punches would bother Scott, just my opinion of coarse

Rickys super fit , but was never the quickest. In to the bargain he has slowed down, reflexes have slowed. 1 year ago he wouldn't be getting hit all day with big wild crude swipes he got hit with all night in last fight as I am sure u would agree.
