Oscar was a fraud that lost every meaningful fight, GGG is not proven yet , but GGG is a better boxers with more power.
Ahh. It's so nice to wake up on a Saturday morning and have my coffee while reading the latest GGG hate thread. I enjoy it better than the morning paper.
No of course golovkin isn't he isn't american so he is never going to be as hyped as Oscar de la Hoya , american's are always hyped more than other boxers
I don't think he's overhyped in general, but he is by some people. I want to see him tested as well but I don't doubt him either. But you're right about one thing, once he loses, a lot of people will cry that he was exposed.
Old man...yes...scared....of whom? You....please !.... Of GGG? Like I said before, who has he fight to make into what you hyped fans are making him.... I honestly think, it is in HBO"s interest to hype GGG, look at the boxers they have left....other than PPV events
Dude is calling a guy that won belts in multiple weight classes and was recently inducted into the hall fame hype job.:nut
ODLH was a careful manipulation of weight classes and opponents ...was given several questionable desicion s in his career.... And during his tenure as champ... He was highly idolized by ESB huggers.... But he had the hardware... GGG has minimal hardware and is already being put in the same sentence as MMH!!
Erm... I'm hoping you mean annoint. Besides, I think it's generally acknowledged that Golovkin hasn't had the fights to prove he is great yet which is a source of some frustration for those, like myself, who believe he may have the potential to stand with the elite fighters of the generation. Geale is a step in the right direction but I believe he will ultimately have to make the move to SMW to prove himself at the highest level due to the fractured nature of the MW division and it's lack of a recognised kingpin. For the time being however I'm just enjoying watching the guy progress. It's easy to forget he's only been a mainstream fighter on US TV for a little over 18 months and in that time has probably established himself as the top MW in the world (I think it's fair to say a Geale win would cement this).
GGG will spar with GG (Groves) this week as part of prep for Geale fight. However, it can also be considered as a check point for a potential fight with Froch at 168. I like this sparring.
Hagler? Oh - I see, the prolific anti-GGG troll threading of El Chicano and his ilk have you confused. The guy starts a couple of troll threads everyday with the (apparent) intent of ... well I'm not quite sure what - it's either some kinda obsession with GGG or maybe he's getting paid. Check out El Chicanos profile under 'threads started' and you'll see what I mean. Either way - he sure ain't a GGG nuthugger though some of his thread titles (ie GGG vs insert name of ATG or HOFer) are chosen to make it seem so.
Hadn't heard about that - footage is unlikely if it's at the Summit and Abel frowns on really heavy-duty sparring by all accounts, but perhaps we'll get some kinda feedback outta Groves in the coming weeks. Actually - although I can see Groves having been chosen as good preperation for Geale in terms movement and style, they also may have an eye on him as future SMW step up opponent quite aside from his value as a Froch barometer. Interesting. I'll keep my eyes open. Do you have a source BTW - not that I doubt it, I just like to read the s#it first hand.
