Lost some respect for Hopkins tonight

he did the same **** after the 1st taylor fight,bitched about it even tho he had a guaranteed rematch,it did detract from his overall performance.

 

bernard was blowing hard in rounds 8,9,10 and that phantom punch was a little OTT he needed a break as upto that point (round 10) joe was catching him. i was disspointed with bhop constant holding etc

 

I really hope that's Hopkins last fight, the guy's mastery of body-language is really clever but his spoiling tactics are really starting to bore the **** out of me.
Bhop should call it a day and let the young talent have their paydays.

 

117-110, BHOPs made Calazage look like an amateur unless you don't know about boxing and clean effective punching, which most on ESB don't. BTW Enzo Calazage said Calazage was losing

Holding doesnt lose rounds, getting smashed by right hands does lose rounds :yep

 

Well Enzo was hardly going to say "Joe your winning at a canter, go out and relax" now is he?....and as for Hops winning the fight 117-110, it appears you dont know much about boxing....and your blind aswell

 

Enzo even thought Joe had lost after the fight, Roach told BHOPs he was winning.

Do you have a scorecard, I've put mine up, Calazage didnt land any decent shots all night, BHOPs countered his head off

 

I saw hop winning the first 6 rounds easy. joe just couldn't hit hopkins. then hopkins got lazy and let joe just out work him. boring fight thanks to hopkins, even tho he gave joe a boxing lesson.

 

hey **** ****. you dont score fights only on clean punching. ive been browsing many sites and a lot of people have joe winning. dont sit here and tell me i dont know boxing. yes hops landed the cleaner shots but guess what? he did not land enough of them. not to mention the holding was ridiculous

im a hopkins fans and he lost this fight. close or not close he lost

 

All that low blow acting from Hopkins made me lose some respect for him as well ..

 

its bad enough he did the first one the second one looked non existant. that was some BS

im glad hopkins lost. i like the guy a lot but i didnt like his im not gonna lose to a white guy comments and the fact he gave joe no respect after.

yes, he landed more of the clear shots but he didn't do enough & then went to hold.
