Olympic senstion Cameron''the hammer''Hammond picked up his first title as a pro with a clear points win over Argentinas Alfredo Rodolpho Blanco 11-1 in Moree last night. 4 time world champion Ricky Hatton was ringside to see his charge take care of business and was impressed.

Good to see professional boxing, especially championship boxing (even if it is a regional title) in the country. Hopefully a few kids from Moree and the surrounding regions are inspired to take up boxing after seeing the show.

We can only hope so mate if it makes 1 kid dedicate himself to boxing and not waste their natural talents by going down the wrong path it will be worth it. Kudos to Cameron and Ricky for taking a fight card to Moree.:good
