Rethinking. I think Canelo will crack badly Lara's chin.

No he's really not. Canelo is a good young fighter, but he is not special. Lomachenko is special.

Nonetheless I too suspect that Alvarez gets to Lara late.

You gotta be a soft MF to hate him for his trashtalking. It's hilarious. It reminds me of when I use to watch wrestling as a kid and The Rock and Stone Cold used to trash talk the **** out of their opponents. Only this isn't as scripted. I find it funny.

No, Canelo was getting pushed back and bullied by fcking Mayweather. You'd have to be an aggressive, come-forward fighter to even get close to knocking-out Lara.

The Angulo fight suggests Lara can be gotten to by constant pressure and power. In that fight he was forced to move a lot but it's hard to do that constantly for the full 12 rounds, when he did stand in front of Angulo he was punished. His defence relies heavily on movement, when static he's a sitting duck he doesn't have the elusive inside skills of a Mayweather or a Toney who are hard to hit even when in range.

But Canelo is not Angulo, he doesn't put the same kind of constant pressure that Angulo does, he prefers to stand off a bit more and box. He will need to be more aggressive and when Lara does stop moving be willing to throw and take his chances.

It's a hard fight to call but I'm favouring Canelo. He's pretty slick himself and won't be an easy target, I think he come from behind and stop Lara.

The ring was tiny and Angulo had to take a whale of punishment to do it. I think Lara is a spoiler and hope Canelo wins just so he can **** off, but unless he negotiated a tiny ring, he's not going to catch him. Lara is way more committed to the back foot than Floyd was.
