Fury isn't taking boxing seriously at all. He's not disciplined enough. Even if (and that's a big if) Fury wins an ABC belt after Wlad's retired one day he will manage to lose it against some random nobody who knocks him out. Fury has inconsistency written all over him.
Fury isn't close to being competitive to Wlad IMO. I still that all said a fury fan...just I'm still waiting to be convinced. To my eyes as I see it he is a KO waiting to happen. He always gets hit in all his fights..and has gone down to light fisted fighters so in a 12 round fight vs a top level boxer that has KO power in both hands I see only 1 outcome. Fury seeing stars at some point spinning around over his head as he here's the ref count 10. Fury is honest and I admire this - but as he's said repeatedly he is only in it for the money. Once he's been KO'd a few times and isn't getting the money he wants he'll give it up. Look at how fat he got after he 'retired' when the Haye fight felt through a 2nd time....he had a right to be upset over that fiasco, but he showed a quitters heart there and go so fat he was according to Peter Fury obese coming into his last camp. That doesn't sound like a champions mentality to me. It sounds like a quitter in the making to me. Chisora may well get his revenge this time around then we may see what comeback power Fury has if this happens. One things for sure whilst Fury was the clear winner of their last fight I'm not so certain about this time around. He could well blast Chisora out but its also just as easy to see Fury getting stopped or beat on points to. For me, whilst I watch and want to see him do well he's still got it to prove in my mind just yet. And same goes for Wilder, however I'd not fancy Furys chances vs the windmiller at this stage. He gets hit too easily and goes down to light punchers as stated above...if windmillers fast hands get one on him its game over KO1. But Wlad is on a whole other level to both these pretenders IMO. Wlad has been doing it successfully at top level for years in dominating fashion. I cannot imagine someone like Wlad getting dropped by the fighters Fury has. So should this fight happen my guess is Wlad KO inside 5 rounds...could easily be in the 1st or 2nd.
For Haye he was in the best shape of his life and cleaning out top class sparring partners in camp. For the Chisora rematch , he will be in the same shape. That doesn't sound like somebody who hasn't a championship mentality to me.
Wlad is surely the favourite. And the bigger the opponent, the bigger and easier to hit is the target, for him. But, in my opinion, for strange it may sound, Tyson Fury is Wlad's worst enemy, now and even more between 1-2 years, when they'll clash. Fury is enormous, bigger, reachier and heavier than Wlad. This isn't much per se, since wlad does not win based on his size, he literally trashes fighters as big or bigger than him. But Fury is skilled, he has a good jab, good fighting sense, can throw combinations, can fight with both his arms, has an high guard, and an impressive stamina and ring mobility for one his size. His power is good when he charges up. And even his slaps hurts. He throw punches to the body, and he could even be the best heavyweight around in doing it. His chin isn't bad at all. Never been stopped, in spite of lickeing too much the mexican style of stopping punches with the face for the sake of it. Being dropped by 215 lbs of pure lean muscle masses that throws an overhand with everything behind it just means you have a good chin, if you get up immediately and aren't even shacky. I wonder how it went the 10 rounder with Carlos Takam, but Fury didn't have a mark on his face in the days around that supposed match and looks totally confident. Also, last but not least, Emmanuel Steward was impressed when they had Fury in one of their sparring camps, and wanted to train him (it's true!) in the future.
Wlad by KO. It is an interesting one for the reason that Fury is as tall and rangey as Wlad and he comes to fight. That being said his technique is awful for a top contender. In the HW's everyone is a KO waiting to happen. I think Wlad is too skilled and level headed where as Fury would abandon a game plan and go punch for punch at the drop of a hat.
Wladimir would have practically every advantage. Fury is slow, sloppy, becomes complacent. On his best night he may have a punchers chance against a young reckless Wladimir, but Fury doesn't have the natural aggression of Corrie Sanders so it would likely just be one knockdown followed by a Wlad points win or Wlad TKO.
