So you want him to wait another 2 years for a title shot.. hahaha

If he's not ready now, smack bang in his prime then he'll never be ready.

Unfortunately this has all the hallmarks of a fight that isn't happeneing. It's the 2nd week of July and there's been no official announcement for a fight due to take place in a matter of weeks (Aug 16th). Hearn coming out and saying the fiight is set well before any official confirmation means you should keep your money in your pocket for now unless you're a big Bika fan:

I wouldn't go as I have no faith in Kell actually showing up.

The truth is anything other than a porter win will be a massive shock. He's definetely not ready for it regardless of how many eliminators he's had. By all means send him out there to get pummelled and hope for the best....but kell with the right fights could actually go out there and have a big chance of winning them.

He wont when the best fighter he's faced up to this point is probably senchenko. Brooks career path been a **** up for years...they need to rectify them mistakes now...instead of sending him out because he should be ready for it...the bottom line he's not.

At least with rose and rees they would never be ready for broner and andrade...so why not. With brooks it's just a throw of the dice with someone that could be competing at the top level.
