The Ponce De Leon fight was at 130.

    146-130= 16.

And Golovkin didn't lose against Adama, Broner did against PDL :hi:

Once again modernfonzie, good thread, and I agree. Golovkin has plenty of opportunities but he's kind of like Ward right now. DOESN'T WANT TO CHANGE WEIGHT.

Why does Roach always seem to do this?

He always down plays his own fighters through asserting weird notions in relation to other "possible opponents" and then when they do schedule an opponent, Roach down plays his own fighter through stressing the lack of credibility in the current opponent.

(I guess it doesn't matter since I agree with him... Interesting fight for a young current and future superstar to take one year after taking his first loss... nobody should complaining though. Alvarez having guts is a win for boxing fans...)

GGG is near a fight against other title holders in MW, why should he step up and start from the scratch, if even more people are ducking him there? Froch admitted he would never fight GGG, Ward retired from boxing and became a HBO commentator instead of figting Golovkin. He will unify the titles in MW, becoming a bigger name so that even racists will admit his skills and the. Step up .. or .. hehe .. down? But seriously, who would ever want to fight him?

mack was 12-2 including being robbed of a belt.

imagine the response on here if ggg dropped a division like broner is.

GGG is just a middleweight. Why should he change weight class? Then all the other boxers should change weight classes?

And Broner was fighting in lower weight classes, as soon as he fought someone without size advantage, he got owned.

chavez wouldn't sign, clown. should triple G have put a gun to his head?

you've caught 'el chicano disease', an irrational obsession with the middleweight champion that makes you start dumb threads.

Broner dropped a division after moving up 2.

That would be GGG going to 175 then down to 168.

I agree to an extent. Geale is a decent fight though. Nothing wrong with going after at least an Abraham or a Stieglitz type at 168 though
