Hell even from a business end, the fight would have maxed out profits like 4 years ago....So how is having it in may (5 years after it SHOULD have been made) best for business? YDKSAB and YDKSABusiness

 

While I think coward is a harsh characterization for risk aversion, the two aren't exactly mutually exclusive. Furthermore, I have no problem with anybody putting them and their promoters on blast for the failure to make this fight happen.

I don't believe either of them is a coward either. Floyd's a promoter though, Pacquiao is not, so Floyd catches the flak for it. Pacquiao can have Roach pick or dictate fights to "even the odds" or make it safer for him and not get criticized.

All fighters that Mayweather "ducked" were conveniently TR fighters.

He didn't duck Corrales did he, or Castillo, or the Castillo rematch, he was even accused of ducking Baldomir FFS, and he fought him. He didn't duck Hatton, DLH after KO'ing Mayorga, he didn't duck Mosley when every one said he would duck him in 2010. He magically stopped "ducking" Cotto as soon as Cotto left TR. He didn't duck Canelo, he's not ducking a Maidana rematch.

Okay then....but but but, he ducked Margarito, Cotto and Pacquiao doe.
