In every interview leading up to his fight with golovkin he seems to draw inspiration from the fact that he has done 12 rounds many times before and Golovkin hasn't. 29 professionals havent been anywhere near good enough or had a comparable skill set to golovkin to make him hear the final bell to go 12. Golovkin has put some woeful beatings on men but because he showed the ruthlessness and banged them out instead of carrying them until the end , this is were Geale draws inspiration from ???? He shouldn't be thinking about the last few rounds, the first few will be horrible for him.
Yeah your right, he should just be really negative, start dressing like an Emo and concede he's getting farked up big time like 99% of us think. Nice pick up oh wise one.:good /sarcasm
Well he already does one , he dresses like an emo already . Sorta reminds me of George Groves , without the red hair
You're right. He should just get down on his knees and fondle his nuts, just like you and the rest of the Golovkin fans do. Idiot.
Yep you're right he should resign himself to the fact he is going to lose and is going to cop a hiding. Having no self belief is obviously the best frame of mind to take into your hardest fight to date.
I honestly think Geale believes he will win this fight, and he should too. He's a world class professional fighter whose been boxing for 2/3rds of his life. He fought anyone in the world as an amateur and now he's doing the same as a pro, I don't think he fears anyone, he has too much self belief. I personally don't think he will win, but I'm not the one fighting. If he didn't have the mindset that he was destined to win then he shouldn't be fighting.
I firmly believe GGG is the number 1 middleweight and geale the number 2 so we should have a great fight..!
Thank god geale hasn't got your confidence, otherwise he might be starting negative threads about Aussies having a go.
I dont think anyone, especially GGG, will be really worried about Geale's gain in confidence about this fight... I hope Geale's confidence is associated with some new development into punching skill-to fire off some violently planned punches at GGG. In my opinion, Geale's style, over the years, has shown a lack of belief that he will be able to deliver block-busting boxing punches. I would have liked to see some shotgun left jabs, lightening right crosses and rocket left hooks thrown by him - you know, the type of punching that actually moves an opponent's head violently backwards, rather than (my perception) of him almost suffocating his opponents with numerous, rapid, soft whicka-whaka punches. I do not think I am the only supporter of Geale that thinks this. My opinion though, is that he is not as good as GGG, and that he can not withstand the rapid hand speed and power of an incoming blockbuster puncher like GGG. It will be an early night I think.
Lack of Belief , tell me your joking Tiger, the blokes gone to Germany where no one wins except the local boy in 95 % of title fights and WON FFS. And whats this block busting punches **** - your either born with power or not , you dont just gain it through having belief.
Perko, The blockbust punches - **** you say ? I was trying to describe boxing punches that are thrown long and strong and with accuracy and speed - as opposed to the half-arsed, pitter-patter, whicky-whacky ones, that got me yawning as I was watching Sturm v Geale....it was like a neutral spar. Both seemed to never want to get out of first gear......I was thinking of sending a few blokes I do not like, a copy of this video for next xmas. Would you like one? Haahaaa....just jokin mate....Seriously, if this is the champaigne of world boxing, then give me a beer. The lack of belief I was referring to Perko, I meant that it belongs to me: I lack a belief that he will be able to throw the type of conventional (block buster) punches that will disturb GGGs feathers. The power applied and developed into speed, strength and accuracy through punching, is not gained at birth or genetically...... it is developed through practising and perfecting by the boxer to produce (power) strength and velocity into his punches, and usually this technique/complex skill, combined with knowledge and direction(by trainer, or by self) is developed and obtained in the boxing gym, and in sparring, and in competitive bouts, and not in the hospital next to his mother as an infant. (My boxing trainer did show up to my birth though)
Geale threw stronger punches vs Wood and speaks often of improving his punching power in training? Love the term whicky-whacky, that's gold.
