HOW DID ANGULO LAND THOSE HUGE PUNCHES ON LARA, ALMOST KNOCKING HIM OUT AND WOULD HAVE KNOCKED HIM OUT IF NOT FOR THE HEADBUTT BY LARA.....................AGAIN, HOW DID THE EXTREMELY TURTLE ANGULO LAND THOSE HUGE PUNCHES ON LARA?

 

More to do with a flaw in Lara's defensive skills when fighting off the ropes.
First knockdown Lara dropped his hands while attempting to land a counter. He sacrificed defence for offence.
second knockdown Lara slid off the ropes with his hands down and chin up and got caught with a wild left hook.
Of the two knockdowns, the first probably dazzed Lara more because he was caught more squarely.
Neither shot actually had lara in much trouble and he was able to recover as soon as he got up.
Not even close to being knocked out, and no, no head butt did that damage to Angulo's face. Those scars and bumps were from solid counters and straight left hands bouncing off of Angulo's face.

 

Canelo wins by KO.

Lara was floored twice by a guy who doesn't have the skills that Canelo has.

 

Canelo punches harder and quicker. He lands more combinations and Lara - as Angulo proved - is there to be hit. He isn't as slick as people make him out to be on here.

 

ya but i don't trust canelo's stamina or ability/(willingness?) to adapt his style to what his fights are calling for.
