Excluding Trout, those are my favorite fighters. I just rewatched Hopkins-Joppy where at young BHOP (39 yo) fought an inside fight and looked like Andre Ward on steroids. In the clinch, Hopkins at 39 was a very dangerous fighter. Today, we rarely see Hopkins fighting in that style anymore. That's entirely different than what you see with Vlad and Ruiz. I don't know why BHOP gets the bad rap about hugging and clinching. I think those who propagate that lie must not like to see or appreciate good inside fighting, but like I said, Hopkins rarely fights like that anymore.
Yeah, I saw Hopkins' good inside fighting when he was made a fool while losing to Calzaghe, Taylor, Jones, Dawson, etc. Kovalev told Hopkins, anytime any place, but Hopkins runs and hides..............
i love rigos style and i love an intelligent boxer, but i also know if angulo was able to disrupt lara from keeping it that fight then canelo should also FIREWORKS BOYYSSS
Question: How did angulo land those slow huge punches on lara almost knocking him out and would have knocked him out if not for the headbutt busting his eye up................again: How did the turtle angulo land those punches?
Do you people see what I'm saying? My prediction was almost 100% correct except Jerry Roth who gave Lara 115-113.:happy
Mayweather is the only watchable one. Hopkins? No. Rigo? Meh. Ward? Hugs too much. As good as they're, they are pretty boring. And Hopkins is a straight up cheater, only nationalistic bias makes people a fan of him.
