Bellew didn't win the 1st fight, he was gassed in the last third of the fight. Cleverly will win again; people forget that Nathan has only lost to Kovalev in his career and he's the 175 Andre Ward equivlant in terms of dominance.

yeh everyone thinks the kovalev loss was far worse than the stevenson loss. :patsch
and kovalev is a far better than stevenson, but stevenson still smacked run around bellend all night. cleverley stance isnt clever he is there to be hit all the time thinks he can parry shots and use his elbows fighting in close, but look what happened when he met the krusher.
think bellend and cleverley are underestimating this division big time.

    Just watched both fights.

If Bellew dont bomb Cleverly out early i can see a late stoppage for Clev he looked unfit and to be honest its only casual-pub fans who think Bellew looks much better at the new weight.

Watch the Bellew fight back with no commentary and if you cant see his mistakes you dont know boxing.

No sure about a stoppage but i agree Clev wins again, he's fitter and takes shots better.

They both make a lot of mistakes that why I said neither is world level but you cannot say that Cleverly has adapted better to CW than Tony has

How you can see a late stoppage for Clev at a weight he cannot break eggs at is beyond comprehension.

    peace.

with a combination of tiredness + an average chin, bellew can be stopped even by koleverly

    Cleverley beats him again.

He has way more class in and out of the ring than Bellew.

If Bellew fought as well as he talked ... he would be some fighter but alas that is not the case.

I think in the amateurs bellew was a heavyweight and clev was a middleweight?

The weight will suit bellew much more than it will cleverly, he looked so drained in there first fight.

    Bellews got this

As has been mentioned the disappointing thing about Cleverly is that he hasn't looked to improve his backroom and training apart from shedding Vince. So bringing the no-strategy brainless face-first approach he did to the Kovalev fight is gonna see the same thing happen if he gets stepped up at cruiser. Also, it may well be the case that he has been mentally been more affected by the loss than Bellew has been by the Stevenson fight.

However, whilst Bellew is certainly carrying more pop at cruiser he hasn't yet been made to fight at anything above walking pace, and he would already have a loss after Brudov had him out on his feet with the one punch he landed. If Brudov hadn't followed it up with that silly low blow Bellew was a goner. So I wouldn't be surprised to see Cleverly outwork Bellew more convicingly without Vince in his corner, and if Bellew doesn't land something significant he could well end up gassing.

Clev wins. Stays at range and destroys Bellew with long right hands and left hooks once he gets bored ram rodding his coupon with a crisp jab. When he stops inside - hopefully not for long on each visit - he destroys Bellews ample guts with hurtfull left hooks and steps off to set him up again and again. Throw less, throw hard.

I think Clev has lost a lot of speed at CW, hasn't needed a jab at CW as fighting journeymen. Bellew is hitting a lot harder and looks the same pace. Highly likely he will win rematch
