Honestly has anyone ever seen a boxer who was so bad a cutting off the ring ?

He supposed to get better in each fight but it looks like he takes a step backwards !

I think Nacho Berastein would be a great fit for him .. Any thoughts ?

Canelo is really skilled, good defence and punch variety.

But his footwork is really lacking, he is number 1 at 154 lbs so I am not sure he needs a new trainer but more work needs spent on his footwork.

Don't think he has regressed but rather his opposition has stepped up in recent years and he has fought against styles he is known to struggle with in Lara, Trout and Mayweather.

jesus finally somebody else has commented on it. He learnt nothing from the floyd fight. He just followed all night long again missing wildly so many times.

maybe Lara is just a good boxer?

I don't see Canelo ever leaving that team. They're like family to him.

lara is an elusive, slick southpaw who chose to run all night, it would have been difficult for anyone to catch him like that, yet canelo landed cleaner and harder than he did mayweather.

A gulp was able to catch him and I don't consider him as good of a boxer as Canelo
