Who do you think Canelo will take on next? Gotta say I'm massively impressed with his career so far especially given his age. Trout and Lara were two fights noone expected a cash cow to take and both times he came out on top. He's only lost to the p4p number one fighter and has established he's the next best LMW out there. The way I see it, there are 2 fights I would like to see him take. Cotto: Canelo has a very real chance of becoming the next MW champ here and is arguably the bigger man so moving up in weight shouldn't be an issue here. Molina: Canelo has proven he is willing to take high risk low reward fights and Molina is pretty much the only other threat out there in this division. I know some will want the Lara rematch as they have issues with the decision, but as far as I'm concerned the right man won a close fight. I can't see there being much demand for a rematch but that hasn't stopped Canelo in the past. Whoever he faces outside of Floyd, i imagine him being the favourite. He's also already shown how multi faceted his attack is and at such a young age i think he has a bright future. I'm not really into this fanboyism that goes on in the forum world, just wanted to know what peoples thoughts were on his potential next opponent.
i think he will continue his run of taking on the fighters everyone else in his position would not go near i think taking on cotto at 160 would be a great move THEN JUST MAYBE GGG.. or GGG can fight him at 155 cw ?
Kirkland or Molina...Then Cotto before he calls it quits. He should actually get Sergio Martinez's scalp while Martinez is a relative well-known amongst boxing pundits.

He should steer far clear of Andrade, but fight Kirkland Molina then Cotto. Win a title at MW then unify against Quillin, and hide from GGG til he goes up to SMW.
I doubt he fights Manny because they will ask for a catch weight and Canelo already has problems with weight.
Cotto! But de la Hoya said in an interview they're shooting for Kirkland or Golovkin. Of course he'll most likely never fight Golovkin because of the network issues.
