My Lara-Canelo score card

If Canelo really had 44 shot against 22 I would have given him the round. Computer stats are very easily manipulated. I didn't see Canelo get 44 shot connected in any single round. They may be counting 20 shots to Laras arms as body shots

I wouldn't argue over 116-112 Lara or 115 113 Canelo....
that said Lara LET himself be robbed by not tagging Canelo when he was being defensively irresponsible. .
I still scored it for Lara 116-112and I learned how corrupt Show Stats is.

You admitted yourself earlier that a draw would be fair now you are saying Lara won by a wide margin. :huh

Why don't you score body shots?

 

if you don't want to give credit for body shots watch Amatuer Boxing not Professional boxing. heck with that scorecard of yours, you are better off watching wrestling, I hear the rock and stone cold Steve Austin are making a comeback.

I am talking about the punches that did hit his stomach and ribs etc not arms, they should be scored as much as head shots.

 

If you don't score body shots unless they lead to a knock-down, then you ARE NOT scoring correctly. Thats a FACT!

Tell me where in the rules it states body shots are not scored, please!

 

This makes no sense at all where in the rules does it say to favour head shots, clean effective scoring to the scoring area in the body/head should count equally.

Hitting the arms and Gloves doesn't count though.

 

A jab is the most landed shot, you need to be within punching range yourself to land a body shot.

Lara had longer reach so from the outside he could land but not Canelo so are you saying straight shots shouldn't count as much as the shorter Canelo would be at a disadvantage?

To land a good body shot isn't easy as it involves having to get past your opponents punches and get him to plant his feet to let off combos on the inside.
