    Lara vs Alvarez

Alvarez landed 97 of 415 punches (23 percent), including 73 percent of his power shots to the body, and Lara connected on 107 of 386 blows (28 percent). Alvarez landed 36 or 37 more power shots, can't recall the exact number. Lara had the slight advantage in overall landed (10 more punches) due to his jab.

    Mayweather vs Alvarez

Alvarez landed 117 of 526 punches (22 percent), 73 of which were power shots. Mayweather landed 232 of 505 punches (46 percent), 93 of which were power shots. Mayweather landed 20 more power shots than Alvarez, while also out-boxing him in overall landed (115 more punches) significantly.

AND... Mayweather wasn't running from post to post. Lara makes Mayweather look like Marvin F'ing Hagler. (Joke)

Just as clear? You're on serious drugs or need to lay off the bias.

Canelo looked ridiculous the whole fight swinging at ghost and hitting air. But maybe you think that boxing is just standing there trading pot shots. I would disagree since lara is not a punching bag.

I would agree that moving all the way to the other side of the ring was a little odd, since he did not do that against trout or angulo. maybe it was a tactic to tire canelo but it did look ridiculous at times and unnecessary.

If you call body shots punches landed to the legs thighs hips and buttocks then yes you should count those as punches. i would disagree and call them fouls.

It's a little annoying that he has to spring back across the whole ring like a fuking cat when he defends from a straight punch. Spining, pivoting, circling was ok, but every time Canelo threw a straight right to the body he simply jumped 7 ft backwards.
